Behind the Brand
Hi! I’m Rachel - the face behind the brand.
The name “Third Note Studio” was inspired not only by the layered notes that make up fragrance, but also by my three children…the biggest inspiration behind everything I create.
What started as a creative outlet during a chaotic season of life slowly grew into something much bigger: a brand centered around comfort, calm, and creating intentional spaces through scent.
Over time, I realized how powerful small rituals can be. A room spray before guests arrive, lighting incense at the end of a long day, or catching a familiar scent while walking through your home. These small moments have a way of grounding us and shifting the energy around us.
Mental health awareness is deeply personal to this brand.
In 2017, I lost a dear friend to suicide - losing him changed the way I view mental health and how important it is to create spaces where people feel safe enough to slow down, talk openly, and ask for help without shame. That experience is a huge part of why this brand exists. We were built around the idea that comfort matters, atmosphere matters, and the small things we do for ourselves every day can have a real impact on how we feel mentally and emotionally.
Because of that, a portion of every purchase is donated to National Alliance on Mental Illness to help support mental health awareness, education, and resources for individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. Supporting NAMI is one small way to honor his memory while helping fight the stigma around mental health…especially the stigma that keeps so many people struggling in silence.
Third Note Studio isn’t about having it all together. It’s about creating small moments of calm that help you slow down, reset, and feel a little more grounded through the chaos of real life.
